The Bicycle Bill of Sale form serves as a legal document for sale of a bicycle and the transfer of ownership from seller to buyer. This template bears a record of the terms and conditions of the transaction and it usually indicates clearly the condition of the bicycle so that the possibility of any argument or dispute about the condition of the item at the time of transaction is completely eliminated. Usually, the transaction comes without a warranty and when the buyer agrees to acquire the item, it is assumed that he understands that he is buying it as it is with no warranty provided.
To ensure that the transaction is properly documented, the following detail is usually inputted in the bicycle bill of sale contract: purchase price, seller’s name and full residential address, buyer’s name and full residential address, a description of the bicycle including its make and model, signature of seller and buyer and date of execution
Once the seller and buyer certifies that they are both satisfied with the terms and conditions of the transaction, they complete the transaction by exchanging money and the bicycle. Thereafter, they append their signatures and names to the form. Thus, the bill of sale becomes a legal document.
How to Fill : Bicycle Bill of Sale Form
Step 1: Enter the amount the bicycle is being bought and sold for in words and then in figure
Step 2: Enter the name followed by the full residential address of the seller
Step 3: Enter the name followed by the full residential address of the buyer
Step 4: Enter the make (name of manufacturer) or the model (the specific name, number or initial) of the bicycle
Step 5: Enter the serial number of the bicycle if known or available
Step 6: Enter the date in which the transaction is executed
Step 7: Seller appends his signature and enters his name
Step 8: Buyer appends his signature and writes his name
