A dog or puppy bill of sale is a legally binding document that provides evidence of a transaction in which one person, the seller, transfers ownership of a dog or puppy to another person, the buyer. The dog bill of sale is an important document both for the seller and the buyer. For the buyer, the document provides a proof that he bought the dog and paid the full amount and, therefore, he has a legal claim over the animal.   • Step 12: Enter the breed of the dog followed by its color
  • Step 13: Enter the date of birth of the dog followed by its sex
  • Step 14: Enter the dog’s registration, if there is any
  • Step 15: Enter the name of the sire followed by the sire registration number, if there is any
  • Step 16: Enter the dog’s Dam name followed by its Dam registration number, if there is any
  • Step 17: Enter ‘‘yes’’ if the dog was bred by the seller
  • Step 18: If the seller is not the person who bred the dog, enter the name of the breeder in the space provided followed by the date the dog was acquired
  • Step 19: Write in detail, a full description of the state of health of the dog

  • Step 20: The seller appends his signature followed by the date of the execution of this agreement
  • Step 21: The buyer appends his signature followed by the date of the execution of this agreement
